And I'm using the term "fan art" in a VERY liberal fashion here.
Yeah. Wow. How about that Silent Hill movie, huh? Talk about crap. I finally got around to watching it a few weeks ago, and it was just as bad as I knew it would be. Luckily I had set myself to "disappointment mode" a few minutes before I watched it. That way, there was nowhere to go but up. XP
Anyway, the most laughable scene in the movie was where that one chick and what's-her-face were stuck in some room, and Pyramid Head is all like "Rwar I'mmunna gitchoo!" and they're all like "Ahh!" and stuff. Funny enough, granted, but then... he sticks his hand through the door... and hilariously bad monster choreography ensues. If you've seen the movie, you KNOW what I'm talking about. A fury of frantic groping coupled with a cliché camera angle and cheesy horror movie screaming = sheer bewilderment. My girlfriend and I just looked at each other...
Almost in unison: "He wouldn't do THAT!"
Although I suppose they didn't RUIN the character. They kinda sorta did OK with the redesign and everything. I mean, I could go on and on about how bad the movie was, but the fact of the matter is that PH turned out alright. However, I do have to wonder what people who aren't familiar with the game thought about him.
"Uhh... what's up with the black helmet guy?" >.<
PH is (c) Konami. I know he didn't have the cool webby, plasticy gloves in the movie, but they're just so darn fun to draw.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
